This full-bodied blend is a staff favorite with rich notes of bittersweet chocolate and molasses. We mélange roast the Ethiopian component at three different levels to create fruity, complex layers, from bright juicy blackberry to deeply fruited jammy notes. The Latin American coffee adds gravitas for a bold and familiar feel that we crave during the winter season.

Winter Blend
Warm, rich blends often take shape in sweet notes of caramel or chocolate. So much so that it can be hard to tell your coffee was once a fruit. We created our Winter Blend to embody the comfort of the season while allowing the intricate qualities of the fruit to shine through. This blend prominently features a natural Ethiopian coffee to remind us of the origins of coffee.

We employ the Japanese notion of Kaizen in our roasting practice. This idea of “good change” or “continuous improvement” drives our team to keep daily records of their tastings, always chasing better, more delicious, more consistent coffees.
We roast small batches on Loring machines around the world, so our coffee tastes not only luminous but also reliably consistent, from Tokyo to New York.
